Jeff + Heather were married on a very beautiful, warm(ish) weekend in March at Trail Creek Cabin in Sun Valley, Idaho. There weekend started off with a Rehearsal Dinner at The Kneadery which to anyone who has been there is such a fun, great Idaho atmosphere and who would have thought - a great place for parties! Their guests arrived at their wedding in horse drawn carriages where they had cocktails waiting for them as they made their way to the ceremony site. The rest of the night was filled with delicious food, dancing (Jewish and traditional), drinks, and wonderful toasts about the couple.
This was my first time photographing a Jewish wedding and I have to say I really really enjoyed the traditions that went along with it, from the ceremony to the special dancing at their reception it was inspiring to observe and photograph.
Trail Creek is a perfect spot for a cozy intimate wedding especially in the winter when the fireplaces are going and the cabin is full of candles and everyone can hang out in close proximity with each other, it feels like a big family dinner.
