TAG + KACIE’S BEAUTIFUL SCENIC WEDDING IN THE SAWTOOTH MOUNTAINS AT
CENTRAL IDAHO’S 4-H CAMP.
I honestly don’t know where to begin with Tag and Kacie’s 4-H camp wedding, but I’ll start with this; it’s pretty obvious the wedding was epic and amazing, I hope that you take your time looking through these photos to see this wedding is a very accurate representation of nearly every reason I love the Sawtooth Mountains. The Amphitheater is nestled in the pines with beautiful views of the mountains. The way everyone came together, put forth their talents, pitched in, and did everything in their power to pull this off honestly amazes me. Kacie, the bride, is an absolutely visionary. She dreams big and comes up with huge, incredible ideas. Tag, her groom, is a do-er. He makes things happen and has a blast problem-solving to figure it all out. They make an amazing team, which was definitely evident throughout the entire wedding planning process. When we did Kacie + Tag’s engagement session out in the mountains at her parents cabin I knew it was just a peak into how amazing their wedding would be.
I first new Kacie when we were little girls watching our brothers play little league in the summers and then we re-connected again as adults working the wedding industry. I met Tag at a white elephant Christmas gift exchange a few years ago and just instantly fell in love with their love for each other. These two are so charismatic, and Tag looks at Kacie like she has hung the moon!
The wedding day started off with the girls getting ready at a best friend of Kacie’s house and then we made our way up to the 4-H camp where Kacie and the girls finished getting ready in a very sweet cabin equipped with a TV/VCR combo unit (can you even buy those anymore) ? It was very 4-h camp appropriate! Tag waited for Kacie in a grove of Aspen trees and they both cried when they saw each other and I’ll be honest I was tearing up as well, these two just kill me. Kacie and Tag’s ceremony was held in the Ampitheater with the views of the mountains and declared their love in front of their closest family and friends. Following the ceremony was a very golden hour cocktail hour, everyone sipped on specialty cocktails served in custom camping mugs and enjoyed some wonderful appetizers while listening to Tyler and the Train Robbers. An amazing Greek dinner (surprise surprise) was served and her Dad gave the toast of the evening starting a new tradition of telling the groom something he didn’t know about his beautiful bride…(you can ask her for the full story :) A full on dancing party ensued with Tyler and the Train Robbers and then dj_locamotive stepped in and I’m not even sure what time that party stopped but it was epic. The night ended with a bonfire and just a few stragglers sat around and reminisced about the day.
Tag + Kacie - Thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me to capture your most special day, for allowing me into your space and also for taking me in and being my friend. I am truly grateful.
